New project warning!!

This week I have been busy as apart from Sock Snowmen, baking flapjacks, and coping with the kids being a pain i have started a new project! I have been really excited about it, really looking forward to sharing this and proud of myself as i've never attempted such a thing before, but then the kids were a nightmare with not eating dinner and moaning and tantrums... sort of ruined the feeling! Added to that, Abbie bit into her lip quite badly when she fell face first onto the wooden floor in the hallway. A bit of blood and much crying later... still, every cloud and all that - bedtime 8:30pm tonight! And no fuss, yay! Anyway back to the new project - check out the photo!!

There's a way to go yet, obviously, but hey i am hoping Jack & Abbie like it on Christmas Day! Ok, maybe not as much as the Fireman Sam vehicle & rescue station or the Peppa Pig supermarket playset...

And spurred on by the success of the snowmen's scarves, been having a go at crocheted Barbie clothes. Not going too well as all the instructions are in 'American' ;-) are their Barbie's bigger than ours??!
